Sr. Engineer, Operations Compliance

Overview

The Operations Compliance teams drives compliance activities within Operations providing coordination, communication and support of internal control processes.

Role

•Provide oversight of threat management activities, and controls validation activities for Operations
•Minimize manual effort required by Operations technical teams to identify and manage the items in threat management tool
•Coordinate patch implementations with external teams to remediate vulnerabilities
•May oversee the daily operations of a small team and assign daily tasks
•Interfaces with user community to understand their compliance needs
•Provide compliance oversight and guidance for platform systems and procedures, and assesses impact of new regulatory and internal security requirements
•Responsible for oversight of audit controls definition and evidence libraries
•Utilize communication and technical skills to communicate between business and technical teams
•Maintain an understanding of security policies and PCI
•Perform compliance reporting, and addresses escalation of issues as needed
•Perform reviews to identify access violations and procedures to ensure compliance with policy

All about you

•Relevant compliance experience including involvement with IT platform security and facilitation towards certification in audit reviews
•Experience working in projects across functions within and outside of IT (within local country)
•Able to mentor peers and guide less experienced team members
•Experience working in cross-functional and large projects with globally dispersed development resources
•Self manages priorities and time to ensure successful deliverables

This role is based in our Nth Sydney office, however we will be relocating all our Sydney-based employees mid 2018 into one new location at St Leonards.
