Sr Analyst, Revenue Assurance

Revenue Assurance
Primary focus is to strengthen revenue controls by identify revenue opportunities and minimizing the risk of revenue leakage within the Quarterly Mastercard Reported (QMR) reporting process, regional billing process and other revenue streams. This position in cooperation with the regional RA team will lead the execution of identifying revenue leakage and finding resolution thru QMR audits on the customer reported data (QMR), billing processes and rates and other revenue streams. The QMR audits involve identifying & articulating findings, leading follow up sessions, and resolve discrepancies with customers and collect on missing back billings. The position will lead efforts to identifying and finding resolution with compliance matters on relative Mastercard Rules & Standards, validate accuracy of processes applying customer custom billing rates, accuracy of customer provided data for incentives/ deals as per the agreements, perform regular QMR trainings to employees and customers.
The position will engage with Divisional Presidents, Account & Country Managers to understand customer, market and product impacts & changes affecting the Mastercard activity, QMR reporting and revenues. Gaining support across the region is key to resolve and correct revenue opportunities. The position will also work closely with the Global Revenue Assurance and Global Statistics teams to obtain a timely resolutions to the audit findings, share audit findings, participate in global QMR audits and projects. The role will work across teams and regions to understand the global affect and identify resolution on recurring audit findings.
The position will monitor and track regional revenue opportunities to providing quarterly status and engage the support from the regional CFO, FP&A and Controllership, as well as updates to the Executive Management on material findings.
The position requires an individual who is highly motivated, articulate, and analytical individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work a cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
•Lead, plan and perform annual on-sight customer QMR reviews for LAC and other regions as assigned, thru pre and post audit standard processes.
•Lead and perform financial analysis, financial impact estimations and evaluations of revenue on customers and country levels as part of pre-audit process.
•Obtain clear understanding of selected customers, customer's incentive & deal agreements, market regulations and structures, and key players (such as processors, issuers, and acquirers) as part of pre-audit process. Requires interviews and discussions with internal and external sources to gather knowledge.
•Lead and complete pre and post audit documentation and issue QMR observation letter to customer.
•Lead regular follow up meetings with customer and Global Statistics team to address and resolve findings. Perform revenue estimates and ensure billing on prior quarters.
•Lead and perform customer QMR trainings on Mastercard QMR concepts, in person and thru Mastercard Academy.

Role
•Thorough understanding of Quarterly Member Reporting (QMR) concepts, MasterCard authorization and clearing systems, Franchise licensing rules, regional pricing and MBSC billing system.
•Lead QMR audits by engaging customers and local market in conversations that lead to a clear understanding of the market structure, identifying reporting or processing issues, finding resolution to findings, and collecting on missed revenues.
•Apply QMR concepts to validate accurate billing and minimize risk of revenue loss.
•Identify areas of improvement with regional billing processes, recommend enhancements, and participate in implementation of approved solution as needed. Ensure results provide efficient and accurate reporting of regional revenues, and reduce risk of revenue losses.
•Lead customer QMR trainings and reviews.
•Lead and manage ad-hoc requests/ investigations of high-impacting revenue billing incidents
•Engage Markets, Finance, Deal/ Incentive, Franchise and other business teams to ensure complete and accuracy of QMR reporting and revenues.
•Lead and manage multiple projects varying in complexity and size
•Utilize available resources, tools and techniques to analyze data and share findings with Revenue Assurance team to formulate initial assessments, approaches and recommendations.
Qualifications
•Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related
•MBA a plus
•Proficient in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (able to speak, read and write)
•Travel 30% +, domestically and internationally
•Thorough knowledge of the card payments industry
•Excellent analytical skills
•Ability to lead audits with customers and markets
