Senior Specialist; New Consumer, Global Prepaid Product Management

Overview
The New Consumer Product Management team is responsible for developing, leading and executing the long term plan to bring the next 500 million consumers onto the Mastercard network, helping the 3 billion underserved consumers around the world gain access and start using financial services.
These include government solutions (eg. Payroll, disbursement of social benefits), organized labor solutions (eg. Payroll), micro merchant solutions for the base of the pyramid.

Role
The New Consumer Senior Specialist will be responsible to support the identification and build of solutions tailored to capture and convert cash related inflows and outflows to electronic/digital means across government, organized labor and micro merchant verticals. These solutions may be new or a bundling of existing Mastercard products and services, and will target predominately cash based ecosystems where the majority of participants are underserved
•Research and identify key use cases, inflows/outflows and new consumers to be targeted
•Work closely with global and regional product management teams to identify, consolidate and translate market needs into product strategy and product requirements.
•Support the development of concepts & products that are scalable and replicable across numerous markets, adhering to the Product Management Excellence discipline
•Develop value propositions for products and key customer segments
•Work with key partners (Financial Institutions, NGO's, Digital Players, relevant private and non-profit organization etc.) where needed
•Support the management of business plans & requirements for existing product solutions and new opportunities including product concepts, pilots, and go-to-market plans
•Monitor and maintain expertise in the competitive landscape and react, adjust, or capitalize on accordingly.
•Monitor performance metrics that assess product performance, revenue, share, and other key metrics; utilizes results to ideate innovative solutions to challenges in the portfolio

All About You
•Demonstrate a strong passion for Financial Inclusion and the benefits it has to help bring consumers out of the cycle of poverty and into the world's formal economy.
•Good understanding of the consumer segment: needs, competitive offerings and industry trends within a variety of regional/global marketplaces
•Exposure to the management of product portfolios and experience translating strategies into product launches
•Excellent knowledge of all critical Microsoft Office programs (Excel and PowerPoint, Access or MS Project would be preferred).
•Bachelors degree required
•Ability to undertake business travel (up to 10%)
