Senior Specialist, Geo North Identity Solutions
The Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) team's primary objective is to make Mastercard the safest, simplest, and smartest way to pay by developing products and services to protect our network, reduce fraud, improve authentication, and offer our customers the right tools to advance on digital security and enhancing their consumer experience.
As part of this organization, ESS Identity Solutions leads the creation and delivery of innovative authentication solutions enabling cardholders to experience simple yet secure purchases however and wherever they chose to transact.
This individual will serve as Geo North's subject matter expert in ESS Identity Solution products and programs. He or she will establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external stakeholders, take an active role in end-to-end sales and solution implementation lifecycles, and provide ongoing product, project, and program management to support the ambitious expansion of Mastercard's Safety and Security initiatives - with a particular emphasis on Identity Solutions - across the LAC Geo North Division.
Essential functions and responsibilities of the Product Leader for the ESS/Identity Solutions include:
•Deliver the GoTo Market strategy of ESS and Identity Solutions products, increase penetration/cross sell opportunities and expand distribution across Geo North.
•Develop and execute sales strategies which maximize revenue and profit in ESS and Identity Solutions, covering but not limited to 3DS 2.0, Identity Check Authentication Program, Identity Check Mobile Biometrics, (Fingerprint, Facial Recognition, Iris Scan), biometrics-on-card, Risk-based Authentication and other identity solution products that may be added from time to time.
•Partner with regional product, account management, and market development teams to execute product management and go-to-market initiatives for ESS and Identity Solutions within supported markets. Direct Account team effort to build ESS/IS Account plans
•Develop reporting, analytics and presentations for tracking key initiatives, product utilization and performance in supported markets. Conduct analyses & data mining to identify & capture opportunities. Build and manage ESS/IS sales Pipeline.
•Sell extended support as part of our strategies with merchants and issuers.
•Clearly articulate the ESS and Identity Solutions value proposition for our customers, including banks, merchants and digital partners, so it can be clearly understood and communicated by customer facing teams.
All About You
•Proven experience of sales support and knowledge about fraud prevention and digital payment solutions and platforms to financial institutions.
•Account management experience - ability to understand customer and constituent needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends and the competitive landscape. Ability to identify and capture opportunities for increasing MasterCard revenue and profitability, while maintaining customer focus.
•Disciplined approach to Product Management Excellence (PME), sales pipeline development, management, tracking and reporting.
•Strong analytical skills - ability to identify issues before they develop into problems and to proactively resolve issues directly or through escalation to appropriate partners/stakeholders.
•Strong team working skills - ability to work collaboratively and both independently and in a team environment.
•Credit card and digital payment industry experience preferred.
•Excellent organizational skills; project delivery and project management experience working with regional market teams.
•Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree or MBA a plus.
•Position requires up to 25% travel.
•Prior experience for a large bank, processor, vendor, or card brand in the electronic payments industry, with solid understanding of the card payments industry (players, operational model, drivers).
•High preference for action - results driven and with a disciplined approach to deliver sales targets.
