Senior Software Engineer

As part of an exciting, fast paced environment developing authentication and security solutions in the mobile and e-commerce space, this position will provide technical expertise within the development lifecycle for new products and services.

Overview
o Purpose of this team is to provide Authentication Technology for online payments.
o Excellent development and analytical skills using Java, J2EE and related technologies.
o Knowledge of Web services and automation testing.
o Good knowledge and be able to learn and implement latest J2EE technologies.
o Hands on Software Development experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies.
o Provide technical leadership, and mentor other technical resources.
o Work closely with other ESS architects, developers, analysts, and project managers as well as business partners / product managers and other MasterCard technology teams.
o Provide technical oversight of day to day software development including code reviews, performance testing adhering to highest quality of applications.
o Provide technical leadership and support to our business partners specific to emerging authentication technologies and standards.

Role

o Develop applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
o Excellent communication skills and strong Agile knowledge.
o Development of Java based applications using Spring, Hibernate, Restful Web services etc.
o Be able to work with Business/Systems Analysts and Test Engineers.
o Strong knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, Hibernate, Spring is a must.

All About You
o Experience in working on large production systems with high transaction volumes.
o Excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to proactively work to prevent a problem.
o Comfortable with UNIX/Linux command line interface.
o Excellent knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts.
o Excellent communication and documentation skills.
o Experience working with continuous integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Cruise Control etc.
o Experience working with code coverage and health reporting tools such as Sonar.
