Job Title

Senior Engineer, Experience on PL SQL, UNIX & JAVA


• Primary purpose of the team is to provide 24x7 Level 2 Application support for Electra Suite of Products.
• Responsibilities of the team include defect/incident Management, Release Management for Hot Fixes or Code changes
• Debugging the code in case of defect or service request
• Interaction with Level 1 for production maintenance and with Level 3 for Hot Fixes and production release
• Set /manage & meet customer expectations
• Guide and mentor Level 1 support team to manage the day to day operations
• Have you worked as a Level 2 application support for maintenance project?
• Do you have experience of working in a customer facing role?


• Work on reported issues as per the priority defined by the level 1 support team
• Debug the code for the resolution
• Work with key stakeholders to prioritize and action production issues
• Maintain focus on high quality deliverables, while working under pressure situations to meet SLA's in the production environment.
• Keep stakeholders informed of the status of the issues via daily status on emails etc..
• Participate in meetings calls with customers/internal teams to discuss production issues
• Maintain a supportive, positive, open and honest culture within the team.
• Interact with Level 3 support for the production releases
• Assist Level 1 team to resolve the configuration level issues
• Support level 1 team to maintain the UAT environment and support the UAT activities
• Interact with customer/third party to maintain the configuration management database
• Prepare the RCA documents and knowledge management database as a ready reference for Level 1 support team.

All About You

• Sound knowledge of PL SQL and UNIX, average on JAVA
• Good English language communication skills, oral & written
• Technical Production support environment experience is essential
• Knowledge of finance domain in payment scope
• Ready to work in shifts (24x7)
