Senior Consultant, Software Engineering (Kubernetes)

We are seeking a Kubernetes expert to design and automatically deploy Kubernetes infrastructure on-premise and off-premise. Experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes is a requirement.

The Cloud Operations Sr. Consultant acts as a liaison between internal partners/stakeholders and the Operations/Infrastructure teams. This includes oversight of high visibility cloud centric projects within MasterCard and may include implementations of new, complex public cloud infrastructure components in new global locations. They will apply influence to ensure communication and prioritization is optimum across all the various business and technology units. The ability to visualize and simplify complex cloud-centric procedures and ultimately obtain buy-in for rolling these out per the business priorities and need is a key component of the role. This is a high touch client and senior/executive management facing role.

The successful candidate will be driven to deliver, prioritize, resolve and escalate as required to ensure critical business deliverables are made. Clear and clean weekly reporting for work streams will be required.

General knowledge of cloud concepts, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, CI/CD, and tools automation is preferred. We don't expect a technical expert, but familiarity with some of the following would make the candidate significantly more successful; software defined networking, software defined storage, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Public Cloud Infrastructure (i.e, Google, Azure, AWS)
