Senior Analyst, Market Development Co-Brand Business Development

Based out of Singapore the role of Senior Analyst, Market Development Co-Brand Business Development offers the successful individual the opportunity to manage existing and identify pipeline strategic co-brands across AP. With a focus on the hospitality, travel and large retail sectors the position requires a self-motivated, commercially pragmatic business developer with strong relationship management and influencing skills to create and execute against key performance indicators.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong execution focus, a knowledge of the payments/service industry and the ability to create and deliver incremental revenue.


Responsible for all aspects of business development activities for a set of existing and prospective co-brand merchants.

Develop strong relationships between Mastercard and decision makers with merchants across multiple functions (payments, loyalty, marketing, acquiring). Demonstrate an understanding of the merchant's global and regional strategy and the organizational structure through the management of account plans.

Partner with cross functional teams including Advisors, Product, Marketing and all Value Added Services to create revenue opportunities based on identified Merchant needs.

Leverage Mastercard brand sponsorships and product management resources to design and execute tactical plans to drive incremental revenue.

Responsible for all administrative and operational issues for the merchant including planning and budget/expense management.

Comfortable to lead customer engagements and able to communicate at all levels
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Results driven
Payment industry experience - preferred knowledge of the hospitality and travel or service industry preferred
Demonstrate multi-disciplinary payments industry knowledge, i.e. product - cobrand, emerging technologies, marketing, operations, acquiring.
Ability to develop and successfully implement quantifiable business/account plans.
Analytical skills - utilizing internal and external data to manage performance
Fast learner with ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple stakeholders.
