Overview
We are open to considering candidates who are remote based in the United States for this position.

Mastercard's Enterprise Security Solutions organization develops and delivers world-class security products and services for customers across the globe. At NuData, we offer a real-time product that analyzes user activity to detect and mitigate industrial-scale attacks from hackers on user logins, account creation, purchases and other transactional placements. We solve real world security challenges and mitigate threats for some of the largest technology, eCommerce, and financial institutions in the world, including members in the top 5 of the Fortune 500.

The Sales Engineer works closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to share technical knowledge throughout the sales cycle and bridge the gap between technology and business. A key objective is to co-operate with the Sales team to complete sales transactions while at the same time providing customers with optimum solutions to meet their needs. You'll travel onsite to engage clients as a product expert with a strong emphasis on building confidence, closing deals, crafting technical solutions, and identifying business requirements, objectives and opportunities.

This is a full-time position, with up to 50% of domestic and international travel required.

Role
•Work with prospective customers and our Sales team to win deals and drive sales to completion
•Identify customer success criteria, technical sales requirements, and opportunities
•Become a leading SME on NuData's product offerings and competing fraud solutions
•Prepare and deliver technical presentations across multiple levels of business and technical audiences
•Own the RFP and RFI process for existing and prospective customers
•Own technical requirements gathering during the sales process
•Assist with customer training and creating best practice documentation including industry knowledge and platform use

•Ability to quickly adapt to a client situation to capitalize on an opportunity to drive a sale
•Influential self-starter. Taking leadership on prospects and customer engagements.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with different levels of staff including computer engineering, network engineering, project management, business, C-level both internally and externally
•Real world experience with SaaS based web/mobile risk or payment platforms
•High level of knowledge and understanding of web applications (multi-tier web apps, databases, cookies/session, HTTP get/post, RESTful API calls, web sessions, JavaScript, XML)
Assets
•Previous experience in the security, finance, or e-commerce industries
•Previous relationship management or technical business development experience
•Understanding of SaaS based technologies
