Product Management Specialist, LAC Identity Solutions

The Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) team's primary objective is to make Mastercard the safest, simplest, and smartest way to pay by developing products and services to protect our network, reduce fraud, and offer our customers the right solutions to advance on digital security and enhance their consumers' experience.
As part of this organization, ESS Identity Solutions leads the creation and delivery of innovative digital authentication solutions enabling cardholders to experience simple yet secure purchases however and wherever they chose to transact.
This role will support creating a new digital authentication environment in which merchants and issuers will share enhanced data through Mastercard's Identity Check ecosystem. Identity Check will enable the entire industry to lower remote commerce fraud, and to eradicate the false decline problem that has plagued so many online merchants. Enhanced data will give both merchants and issuers even more insight into their consumers and their spending habits, which will allow them to make more informed risk decisions without disrupting the consumer and interrupting the checkout flow.
The right candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external stakeholders, take an active role in supporting product and project management activities in one of the fastest growing Safety and Security areas across the LAC region.
Essential functions and responsibilities of the Experienced Professional for the ESS/Identity Solutions include:
•Support Product Management function including research & analysis, completing product documentation, and product readiness assessments
•Work with Finance, Global Identity Solutions and Division teams in Product-focused financial planning & analysis including; variance analysis, product/market/account analysis, risks & opportunities
•Advance competitive research and benchmarking
•Support Strategy formulation initiatives including regional Product Strategy, market-entry, and go-to-market refresh
•Conduct research and impact analysis to support new Pricing initiatives
•Partner with regional finance, product teams, divisional management, and market development teams as needed to track performance against ESS and Identity Solutions forecasts and develop actions to close gaps.

•Strong analytical skills - ability to identify issues before they develop into problems and to proactively resolve issues directly or through escalation to appropriate partners/stakeholders.
•Strong team working skills - ability to work collaboratively and both independently and in a team environment.
•Credit card and digital payment industry experience preferred.
•Disciplined approach to tracking and reporting.

•Excellent organizational skills; project delivery and project management experience working with regional market teams.
•Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree or MBA a plus.
•Position may require some travel.
•English required, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
Desirable capabilities:
•Prior experience for a large bank, processor, vendor, or card brand in the electronic payments industry, with solid understanding of the card payments industry (players, operational model, drivers).
