Role

• Responsible for supporting the Mastercard Digital Enablement Services (MDES) product strategy and execution for the LAC region.
• Ensure that the value proposition of Mastercard tokenization and digitization services are widely understood in the region and adopted by every customer in the region.
• Maintain a culture of innovation and responsiveness aligned with the requirements of the digital payments ecosystem.
• Enhance and execute the product strategy to differentiate the MasterCard product, directly influencing brand preference and customer engagement.
• Ensure the successful deployment of the digital payment products including digital wallets, tokenization solutions, internet of payment things, Card-on-File tokenization, amongst others.
• Identify and develop local partnerships to help accelerate the delivery of digital payments products
• Build/manage/influence key relationships, from executives to cross functional/organizational work teams
• Ensure quality of deployment and implementations. Assume overall end-to-end management responsibilities for the product.
• Effectively engage Customer Marketing, Communications and other internal teams to support the launch of new products, features and functionality.
• Represent Mastercard in business forums in the Latin America region.
• Provide thoughtful guidance to internal and external partners.

All About You

• 8+ years of experience in the payment industry, in product management and or business development with proven experience in ecommerce/mobile area
• Strong operational/technical background within the payments and financial services industries
• Previous experience with tokenization solutions and EMV knowledge are desirable.
• Ready to work on a dynamic, fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into simple language that can be understood by non-technical partners.
• Strong market development/customer engagement skills
• Deep understanding of the digital payments ecosystem, including competitive offers and industry trends
• Ability to interpret macro-economic and demographic trends, with an ability to craft research and validation processes that support the selection of features and functions related to the solution that support Emerging Payments payment growth opportunities
• Availability for travel is a must. Expect to spend at least 20% of the time out of the office on business trips.
• English is a must have. Spanish and Portuguese are highly desirable and differentiators.
