Manager, Treasury Controllership
• The Manager, Treasury Controllership, will serve as a key contact with respect to accounting, financial reporting and operational support for the Company's corporate Treasury department.
• Serve as advisor and liaison between Corporate Controllers, Treasury, Tax, Legal and Shared Service groups.
Responsibilities would include:
•Accounting support on moderate to complex issues, including interpretation and documentation of technical accounting guidance and conclusions. Advise and interact with senior management on technical complex transactions.
•Critical role in overseeing Treasury related activity including but not limited to derivatives, investments, debt, foreign currency, and treasury buy-backs while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
•May manage or lead large cross-functional projects
•Serves as a first point of escalation for compliance issues and oversees compliance activities. Implements initiatives to strengthen existing controls and optimize business processes. May highlight potential exposures for communication to leadership
•Interface with external auditors regarding the application of generally accepted accounting principles to certain of the Company's transactions and matters.
•Review and approve monthly/quarterly SOX controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
All About You
•Bachelor degree or Master's in Accounting
•Senior Associate/Manager or equivalent experience at a public accounting firm or similar technical accounting experience in a large public company
•Derivative and hedge accounting experience preferred
•Strong project management skills with the ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization to influence, train, mentor and leverage the skills of others to achieve objectives
•Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with emphasis on building strong, long-term relationships worldwide across varying geographies and functions
•Self-motivated with ability to meet project deliverables
•Proficiency with researching accounting literature including FASB, SEC, AICPA, tax expertise a plus
