Manager, Total Rewards
Reporting to VP Total Rewards, Asia Pacific you will develop and manage competitive and cost-effective total rewards programs for Division/s within AP. Providing consultative support to attract and retain top talent, as well as motivate the highest level of performance.
•Serve as the Lead Total Rewards Consultant for Division/s under remit on total rewards projects by providing COE consultative services and value add solutions to support the business strategy.
•Develop relationships and establish credibility with business units and regions senior executives, HR Business Partners and key stakeholders across the company.
•Conduct needs- assessments for business units and analyze results to define program specifications and provide hands on implementation, standardization and utilization of new policies, programs and procedures.
•Develop country specific total rewards programs inclusive of adapting global compensation approaches to respective country conditions, implementing country specific benefits, pension plans and perquisites ensuring compliance with local statutory and legislative requirements / governance and aligned with local competitive market landscape.
•Collaborate with internal COE Compensation partners to create program solutions aligned with MasterCard's Compensation Principles and Pay for Performance.
•Provide client support for the region on mergers and acquisitions integration activities under total rewards
•Serve as a co-trainer/facilitator to deliver total rewards education worldwide to ensure consistent communications relative to MasterCard's compensation philosophy and programs.
•Collaborate on special projects as needed to accomplish total rewards' goals and objectives.
•Keep abreast of best practices and make appropriate recommendations for internal applications.
•Solve complex problems and take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
All About You
Suitable candidates will:
•bring experience with total rewards programs and policies ideally gained from a consultancy and/or multi-national organisation
•demonstrate subject matter expertise in more than one area
•an ability to develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders
•demonstrate strong negotiation, communication, and customer-focused skills
•proven experience in accurately analysing and identifing obstacles or issues, take action and resolve problems or situations in a manner that addresses the customer's needs while acting within the operating guidelines of the company
•proven ability to manage complex projects, including identifying resources needed to complete project within aggressive timelines
•strong analytical ability and experience using spreadsheets and databases
•experience in and a willingness to self-direct and work effectively with others at all levels of the organization (i.e. team members, senior leaders, clients groups)
•Candidates who have multi-lingual capabilities are highly desirable
