Manager, Talent Learning & Development
The Manager Talent Learning and Development position is part of the Global Talent Center of Excellence team responsible for supporting the LAC Region in driving the execution of the global and regional learning and development agenda.
Reporting to the VP of Talent for LAC based in Miami, the position is primarily responsible for local execution of global learning and development initiatives including career management, learning and training delivery, partnering closely with Global Learning and Development team and HR Business Partners in the Region.
As this role is responsible for supporting the Talent Agenda for a geographically and culturally diverse employee base across LAC, experience of working within the region and understanding cultural sensitivities are critical. Candidates will be expected to work flexibly and travel frequently across the LAC region to key markets in order to be fully effective in this position.
•Consult with HRBP and business leaders to identify current and future skill gaps and develop recommendations on how to close organizational capability gaps by leveraging a variety of learning modalities
•Manage the regional training and development plan, calendar and budget to ensure reliable execution of training operation processes (vendor contracts, accounts payables, transcripts, system records, etc.)
•Execute vertical specific development programs by leveraging global frameworks, programs and tools. Drive the change management solutions to ensure adoption.
•Engage with global and regional vendors to ensure proper execution of training programs.
•Leverage training and development analytics to adjust execution of L&D programs and ensure impact
•Utilize multiple digital channels to promote and amplify L&D efforts.
•Develop and maintain regional content for LAC Onboarding program. Ensure program is scalable across the region and leverage technology solutions to deliver a high touch engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
•Participate in global to support the creation, design and execution of global learning solutions.
•Create L&D bundle solutions and customize offering for geographical and cultural fit.
•Manage the communication of all talent development and training initiatives across the region to drive high participation rates
•Using data and analytics, prepare and deliver talent development reviews on how the unit is performing across the region
•Act a facilitator and an internal coach to employees in development planning, resources and tools, 360-degree debriefs and learning actions where necessary
•Builds proficiency on career management and drive adoption of career development tools
All About you
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education or similar. ; Masters or equivalent degree is desirable.
Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Portuguese
• Strong experience gained in Talent Development/Talent Management/ OD and training within a fast paced global organization and matrix structure
• Demonstrated success and experience in building and delivering learning solutions, including facilitation skills and instructor led programs .
• Qualified and/or certified in assessment tools and delivery such as MBTI or similar is very desirable.
• Experienced in coaching employees and identifying development needs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt style and approaches to varied audiences across the LAC countries and stakeholder groups
• Demonstrable expertise in building strong relationships, collaborating across geographical boundaries, networking, negotiating and influencing skills
• Strong analytical skills to build and develop reporting and dashboards
