Manager, Product Development and Innovation

Overview
Lead the definition and implementation of Digital payment services for enabling E-commerce and M-commerce interactions between consumers and merchants and supporting Mastercard's set of innovative controlled-payment services. Manage the build of these services working with development resources within Mastercard (e.g. Digital Payments Technologies) and vendors. Collaborate with other product areas (e.g. Merchant and Wallet Partner teams, commercial and consumer payment teams) to gather requirements and ensure service development and platform integration are aligned with business objectives. Lead functional teams and hold them against clear set of priorities, timelines and resources, to deliver the Digital Platforms roadmap.

Role
Own and deliver the product definition requirements for Digital Platforms, and work with functional teams on the execution
Collaborate with product groups and regional teams to understand business needs and develop corresponding requirements
Ensure relevance of services with customer needs by garnering feedback from customers, Issuers and third parties
Responsible for idea generation and concept validation of new services/platform enhancements
Oversee the development and delivery of digital payment services/API's working with Architecture, Engineering, Testing and Industrialization teams
Lead cross functional teams and hold them against clear set of priorities, timelines and resources, to deliver the digital payment services roadmap

All About You
Extensive Background in product development, preferably in Mobile Wallet/E-Commerce payments and/or Financial Services companies
Significant experience defining and building platform services/API's, ideally across consumers, merchant, B2B and developer segments
Business Acumen with the ability to develop platform services/API's that drive an excellent customer experience, and positive results to Mastercard
Excellent communication skills required, including the creation of written feature descriptions, use cases, and test metrics, as well as strong oral/written presentation skills to share plans and results with all levels of management
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver products/services globally working with regional teams
Ability to interact and coordinate effectively with internal and external business partners
Self-motivated with a track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment
Must be passionate about online/mobile commerce and its players
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in related functional area or equivalent work experience with exposure to management theories and concepts
