Manager Market Product Management Send Cross Border


The Manager, Product Development and Innovation Asia Pacific is part of the Digital Payments and Labs Group. This group is responsible for the strategy setting, product development and management of the Digital Payment products at Mastercard.
•This role will be a member of the Push Payments team and will be accountable for the Mastercard Send for Cross Border payments strategy build and execution in Asia Pacific.

•Specifically, this role will require the ability to work independently, thought-leadership, interpersonal relationships / influencing skills, and strong negotiation capabilities.


•Asia Pacific lead for engagements with Financial Institutions on the on-boarding of Mastercard SEND Cross Border services to create alternative revenue streams and create customers' stickiness
•Work across Account Sales, Product Delivery, Implementation, Digital Partnerships, Legal and Compliance and other teams to deliver solutions & support go to market plans
•To design compelling, differentiated and relevant Cross Border money transfer programs that leverage MasterCard's systems, intellectual property, marketing programs and commercial assets to drive differentiation and revenue growth for the MasterCard's customers.
•Enabling Financial Institutions to onboard Mastercard Send Cross Border solution, utilizing Mastercard's global connectivity that enables cost savings, efficiency and scale.
•To set the strategy for Mastercard Send Cross Border in the region via joint planning with both the external customer and the internal cross-functional partners.
•Support of the in-market product teams with the required best practices , tool kits, business modelling and subject matter expertise
•Embed Product Management Excellence and consumer insights in all product management activities
•Lead business case/requirements for the introduction of new products/features/functionalities/platforms, including P&L analysis.

All About You:

•Demonstrate passion for Digital Payments and has Cross border money transfer expertise
•Solid understanding of competitive offering, industry trends and the cross border money transfer value chain and its constituents. Familiar with P2P, B2B, B2P and P2B business flows and the associated business modellings
•Strong communications and presentation skills, including the ability to work with people across a matrix organization at all levels
•Demonstrated understanding of consumers within a variety of regional marketplaces (particularly in Asia Pacific).
•Business experience with demonstrated success, related industries experience strongly preferred
•Negotiation skills, demonstrates the ability to influence and engage others under one common goal
•Possess excellent relationship management skills
•Ability to undertake business travel (25%)
•Fluent English mandatory and any another language preferred
•Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. MS Project would be preferred.
