Manager, Financial Analysis
Customer Delivery Europe is in the centre of the MasterCard Europe organization and the key contact between the Divisions, Operations and Technology, Global Products & Solutions and the other business units. We are close to the markets and to our customers.
The Customer Implementation Services (CIS) group works on a daily basis in a customer-facing environment, drive new and existing products / services to market from a transaction processing implementation perspective. The team is delivering standard and complex implementation activities, with the customer, ensuring high quality service to our customers, applying project management, guiding the customer through the different tasks that need to happen in order to become live in the market and ensuring high reliability of the implementations.
•Run and drive the budget reporting of Customer Delivery Europe: design, implement and maintain monthly cost and revenue management reporting covering the needs of each audience and with 100% accuracy combined with creativity.
•Define & manage FTE tracking of Customer and supervise the alignment with Finance department .
•Define & manage CDE expense budget, escalate issues as appropriate.
•Lead monthly closing activities:
oPerform in depth cost and revenues analysis to ensure accurate billing, actuals and forecasting. Post monthly accruals where needed.
oHandle billing of Core implementation Fees as well as Customer Delivery Services.
oAnalyze monthly variances between actual and planned expenses & revenues, in close cooperation with the business owners.
•Operate Quarterly Forecast activities: work closely with the Delivery Leads, internal business owners and Finance to update the full year expense and revenue forecast. Consolidate feedback, challenges and explain variances to management.
•Conduct pro-actively pricing revisions and propose improvements to the management team, after getting the agreement from internal stakeholders. Take the lead on all CD pricing related questions.
•Oversee financial management for all Customer Delivery Services. Liaise with Delivery Leads as well as Finance department and local BFO's in order to define the best accounting treatment to ensure revenue recognition. Liaise with CBA team to maximize the opportunity.
•Define & manage pipeline for all Customer Delivery Services opportunities. Hold regular pipeline review meetings with the Delivery leads and his/her regional teams.
•Accomplish full recognition of implementation revenues for non-core products on our revenue stream, including accurate billing where applicable.
•Permanently look for automation opportunities in order to make the monthly financial reporting fully automated.
•Act as primary point of contact for the Finance department.
All About You
•University degree in Finance, Business or Economics preferred
•Results driven, solutions oriented, and thought leadership skill-sets that result in achieving and/or exceeding established goals and expectations.
•Experience with effectively managing multiple deliverables in a highly matrixed environment, ability to work in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders
•Builds strategic internal relations and is a team player
•Be passionate about financials and numbers!
•Strong analytical skills with an eye on details
•Stress-tolerant, motivated and proactive
•Very organized , process oriented, able to deliver within agreed timelines
•PC literate with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Access, Oracle, Hyperion and experience with PowerBI is a plus
•Outstanding verbal and writing English
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
•Ability to self-start and work without supervision with proper issue escalation and remediation where necessary.
