Manager, Analytics & Strategy

Overview
•Develops long-range strategic plans; identifies organization strengths and weaknesses and business opportunities. This includes formulating, implementing and evaluating business plans.
•Performs analysis and reporting of business, financial, operational and administrative data for purposes of understanding, optimizing & driving business decisions.

Responsibilities
•Assists in the development of regional strategy, objectives and action plans.
•Leads projects or work streams related to refine corporate growth and targets; develops presentations, generates research insights, undertakes complex analysis.
•Conducts special, ad-hoc studies to aid leadership in developing and/or framing their solutions
•Contributes data and insights to aid leaders in advancing their solutions and works to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
•Works with key stakeholders to design and deliver custom data analyses, dashboards & reporting packages to address specific information needs. Conveys complex information in a user-friendly format.
•Translates data into insightful conclusions for decision making and strategy development.
•Stays on the forefront of the data analysis discipline by continually researching and recommending new techniques and tools.

Experiences
•Experience in developing corporate strategic initiatives and/or business plans
•Extensive experience evaluating complex strategic initiatives, facilitating, influencing and contributing to design and advancement
•Successful in drawing insights from data and reflecting them into solutions and strategies
•Experience in conducting business financial analyses and building/maintaining complex financial models
•Demonstrates knowledge of specific product or functional areas within MasterCard

Skills
•Data Analysis: Applies broad working knowledge of data analysis tools and specialized data sources to develop indicators and knowledge resources that fulfill Mastercard's information needs
•Data Driven Decision Making: Utilizes appropriate analysis techniques to conduct comprehensive analysis on complex issues; interprets and communicates results to stakeholders
•Long-Term Planning: Regularly researches strategic practices in the payments industry to identify best practices and make recommendations on long-term strategy
•Corporate Priorities: Demonstrates broad understanding of existing MasterCard and competitor products and solutions to support analysis and development of corporate priorities
•Market knowledge: Applies deeper knowledge of local/regional markets and industry trends linking to own technical expertise to provide relevant and up-to-date work deliverables.
