Manager, Advanced Analytics
•MasterCard Data & Services, is the professional services arm of MasterCard Worldwide, provides payments-focused consulting, marketing, information and risk management services to financial institutions and merchants worldwide.

•The Leader is a team member who actively contributes to delivering consulting projects for MasterCard Data & Services internal and external clients
•He or she will contribute towards the development of analysis and strategies of our team to improve our delivery
•Establish relationships internally and externally, to build and maintain a successful, professional network resulting in revenues
•Design and deliver analytical solutions to strategic Mastercard's clients by partnering with Consulting teams on ongoing projects
•Actively contribute to internal product development of innovative data products and platforms to maintain and build MasterCard's intellectual assets
•Coordinate with Business Development and other practice areas to develop client proposals, project plans and price estimates.
•Proactively seek new knowledge and learn new technologies to develop depth of expertise within the payments industry and ensure proposed analyses leverage cutting-edge methods and techniques
•Support regional leaders in the development of a transactional analytical practice within Advisors and in the development of data assets
•Partners with other members, leveraging data assets and analytics, into the creation of opportunities
•Manage team analysts for the development of analytical projects such as propensity models, behavioral segmentation, look-a-like analysis and marketing campaign result analysis
•Proactively search for knowledge, data and information by interacting with other areas of Mastercard
•Apply a range of quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques to identify client issues and solve problems
•Develops recommendations, prepares materials and present your data findings at team and client meeting
All about You
•Bachelor's degree, in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics/Finance from a strong institution
•At least 6 or 7 years of work experience in Analytical roles after completing your undergraduate degree
•Professional level English language capability (must be comfortable to participate in meetings in English)
•Strong analytical skills, including ability to interpret large amounts of data and translate it into concise rational output, apply critical thinking to validate results and willing to proactively apply different techniques to solve problems and drive results
•Results driven and strong business sense
•Effective Problem solver with strong interpersonal and client facing skills
•Having strong experience in statistical modeling, data mining and segmentation
•Advanced knowledge of programming languages, statistical and data mining tools: R, SQL, Python, HADOOP (Hive, Impala, Spark), SAS and VBA
•Strong presentation creation and delivery skills, presenting to management teams
•Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
•Good time management and project management skills
•Ability to work with partners and teams across functional teams in a fast paced, highly innovative and collaborative environment
•A plus if you have experience with payments industry and understanding of analytics related to card spend, fraud and credit risk, interchange, consumer marketing, customer acquisition. Or, willingly to fast learn on the industry to apply analytics skills within the payment industry
•Attains first-hand customer information and uses it to communicate market needs
