Job Title

Java Tech Lead - Core Java, Spring Boot/Batch with Payments/Cards Domain Experience


•Core Payments of MasterCard is involved in developing Authorization, Clearing and other major functionalities for MasterCard.
•Clearing system manages clearing processing for Credit and Debit -offline transaction.
Functions include the following:
Editing transactions to ensure adherence to MasterCard processing standards
Performing currency conversion, assessing interchange fees, and calculating settlement values for each transaction
•Develop solutions for the Clearing and Core Systems which includes Analysis, Design, Coding, testing and Implementation
•Develop project schedule and track the deliverables
•Coordinate with other groups including vendors and other groups within MasterCard to ensure success of the project.
•Have you worked in a full lifecycle development project and used various development methodologies including Agile.
•Have you worked with teams across countries?
•Do you have an understanding of Payment and Cards industry?


•Involve in re-engineering Core Systems from Cobol to Java.
•Create Proof of concept for developing Java Applications in Mainframe
•Hands-on experience in Java Development ( Core Java)
•Liaise with Functional Analyst to create design documents and develop solutions
•Handle coordination between St. Louis and Vendors based in various locations

All About You

•Core Java, J2EE, Development experience
•Experience in Middle-tier and Backend is desirable
•Experience in API, Wrappers desirable
•Strong Communicator with good written skills
•Good Expertise in Application development
•Experience in Spring Boot or Spring Batch, Micro Services, 12 Factor APP desirable
