Director, Product Management, Rewards
The Rewards business is significant and growing globally, and this individual will be responsible for bringing innovative solutions to market to support that expansion. This role involves the product management and planning of a digitally delivered product within the payments ecosystem, so experience in the commercialization of technology is key. The ideal candidate would be an expert in consumer rewards, global market trends, and competitive landscape but also have a solid grasp on how to translate that context into the delivery of new products.
•Responsible for the delivery of new platform based loyalty products, some of which leverage existing Mastercard Loyalty Solutions platforms
•Use communication and relationship management skills to build working teams and create alliances and influence stakeholders. Works closely with Loyalty Customer Teams, Regional Product Management, and Implementation and Support teams on global and regional projects.
•Lead and collaborate across multiple cross functional teams including business, sales, regional and technical staff
•Act as a definitive subject matter expert for Rewards, with a focus on end to end program constructs to drive consumer engagement in issuer and merchant loyalty programs
•Defines and owns the end to end vision for points based products
•Act as a product owner and lead strategic initiatives to expand the Mastercard Loyalty Solutions Rewards product set
•Package new product functionality end to end for regional deployment
•Develop and communicate product vision, roadmap, and pricing strategies
•Responsible for business case creation, product and pricing strategy, product planning, product tracking and reporting product performance (KPIs)
•Participate in planning, forecasting, and other financial management efforts.
•Develop business cases for funding for significant platform enhancements.
•Review and approve regional business cases for requests submitted.
•Manage technical delivery within the budget assigned.
•Working with Global Product Readiness team to ensure we have the necessary processes, roles and responsibilities in place to manage the end to end delivery of rewards products.
•Work closely with regional teams to ensure new products and capabilities are packaged into products that meet regional needs
•Create and manage the communication process with each release.
•Ensure each region is capable, through documentation and training, of the successful implementation of new products
All About You
•Bachelor's degree required along with 10+ years work experience in relevant industry
•Solid working knowledge of the loyalty and payments industry and its eco-system
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional environment
•A strong track record of delivery high-quality products and user experiences on time and on budget
•Ability to negotiate and solutions oriented to identify win win scenarios that satisfy cross functional needs with a mutually beneficial business outcome
•You have strong presentation skills (both written and verbal) and you are able to manage and oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
•You are detail-oriented with an ability to understand and manage operational processes
•Limited travel required, some international
