Director, Merchant Loyalty Product Strategy

Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Merchant Loyalty and Partnerships Director to support the acceleration of our go-to-market (GTM) for key strategic initiatives including Mastercard Traveler Rewards and Personalized Card Linked offers. As a global specialist you will lead enterprise wide activities, to ensure the programs are successfully scaled for long term value.

The Merchant Loyalty and Partnerships (MLP) Director will work within the Global Loyalty Solutions team with a focus on the global go to market for Mastercard Traveler Rewards and Personalized Card Linked offers. As a part of Mastercard Data and Services, Loyalty Solutions is a highly collaborative organization working both with regions and global teams on an enterprise wide basis including data and services, strategy & operations, marketing, digital partnerships, market development, core products and finance.

The incumbent will report with the Global Merchant Loyalty and Partnerships team with key objectives around ongoing strategy evolution, driving execution and implementation, meeting revenue targets and ensuring longer term program relevance through innovation.

Role
•Lead Go to Market plans and drive regional execution in collaboration with product, services & platform teams and regional Merchant Loyalty teams
•Align with regional Merchant Loyalty leads to drive strategic and revenue goals
•Work closely with Product, Service and Platform teams to identify and prioritize product enhancements based on market feedback and customer needs
•Identify product value chain extensions and monetization initiatives working closely with data and services - including analytics, reporting and campaign management
•Ensure merchant content, merchant funding sustainability, merchant acquisition and retention in the programs globally through ensuring an indisputable merchant value proposition
•Support Issuer participation through a compelling value proposition and strong proof points.
•Develop plan and deploy marketing and sales support material to appropriately position our capabilities and solutions to merchants and issuers , and enable GTM through sales and business development teams
•Support the development and management of sales enablement initiatives including foundational sales material, internal and external communications, and support sales pipeline management globally
•Support and drive integration with Product Line Strategy to embed products as a core benefit in relevant markets.
•Drive marketing efforts through integration with Priceless and other marketing initiatives

All About You
•Consultative solution development focused, with product development and management experience, ideally within a B2B business model
•Loyalty experience with deep and broad understanding of merchants & loyalty across markets and verticals
•Good understanding of Data Analytics and use of data to drive business outcomes for merchants and Issuers
•Self-motivated, thrives in a fast paced environment; outcome focused
•Experience of driving success in a matrix operating environment
•Exceptional relationship management, influencing, presentation and communication skills
•Strategic thinker and visionary
•Global / regional experience / understanding.
•Experience in managing a P&L and understanding profitability drivers.
•Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time whilst paying strict attention to detail
•Ability to collaborate across functions and geography
•Experience of having worked in Digital media and digital marketing, digital giants will be an added advantage
