Director, Global Talent Acquisition
Mastercard's Global Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for developing diverse sourcing strategies to identify and attract the most competitive talent both internally and externally to ensure Mastercard's continued success in payments innovation. This role is part of newly organized team dedicated to attracting & acquiring top talent for two lines of business: Data & Services and Cyber & Intelligence, and one function: Integrated Marketing & Communications.
You'll be successful in this role if you have:
•A passion to innovate and lead, as Mastercard strives to do in the payments industry
•Fresh ideas and insights to advance the Talent Acquisition strategy and vision for the future
•The ability to build strong relationships at all levels and create alignment to business strategy and priorities
•The desire to be a key player on a talent acquisition team in a high growth organization and industry
•own internal client relationships: be the main point of contact for assigned hiring managers for all things talent acquisition; ensure alignment with larger TA strategy for business units.
•own end to end recruiting for these assigned clients, from sourcing to closing candidates.
•develop talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles, and provide market intelligence.
•work on HR M&A integration activities representing Talent Acquisition function when integrating newly acquired companies
•manage certain aspects of team operations: req assignment and load balancing, adjudication of background checks, vendor relations, and interfacing with administrators of HRIS/ATS/other related systems.
•drive the adoption of data-based decision making on the team: utilizing data and performance against goals to allocate resources, make business cases, and tell stories to HRBPs and HMs.
•manage executive referrals for the team: ensure highest level of priority and appropriate compliance.
•in partnership with D&I program manager and others, execute on hiring initiatives that ensure a diverse talent pool and an inclusive candidate/employee experience.
•in partnership with VP, communications lead for business units, and others, develop and execute effective employer branding strategies.
•strong attention to detail
•deep experience in talent acquisition + desire to remain hands-on daily recruiting
•people management experience: the ability to engage, lead, and develop talent (sourcers, contractors, etc.)
•familiarity with operating in a matrixed environment
•recruiting operations experience: you can ensure effective resource management, reporting, and stakeholder management.
•the ability to influence without authority (experience with indirect reports is helpful)
•strong client management skills
•above-average Excel and PPT skills, including pivot tables, V lookups, etc.
•the ability to turn numbers into a story
