Consultant (Microsoft Office 365)

"Job Overview: Leads Systems Management engineering projects and creates the development and delivery of enhanced software solutions. Researches alternative technical solutions for changing business needs. Responsible for assuring the daily activities of the team meet the requirements of SLA's. Major Accountabilities: •Requires very little supervision while identifying task associated with responsibilities. •Leads in creating all departmental policies and best practices. •Provides leadership by mentoring junior associates and by leading internal projects and initiatives. •Provide DBA oversight and helps set direction for department strategy. •Properly identifies tasks available for delegation and provides follow-up. Education: •Bachelor's Degree in Information systems or equivalent experience. Knowledge / Experience: •Demonstrates an advanced understanding of tools, utilities, and knowledge within Systems Management Engineering (5 to 8 years experience with Tools) •Demonstrates an advanced understanding of Systems Mgmt. Engineering's role in supporting business processes. •Demonstrates a strong ability to participate/facilitate cross functional teams for estimating, application designs, and implementation strategies. Skills/ Abilities: •Uses strong writing and verbal communication skills to build awareness and to proactively promote department's position in support of sound database structures, data governance and other Corporate strategies. •Ability to multitask. •Displays excellent collaborative skills to facilitate cross-functional teams. •Provides the skills to consistently search for improved methods to provide customer service. What you will accomplish

Drive the adoption and advancement of cloud services using Office 365. As a subject matter expert (SME), you will manage and be responsible for the security and compliance center reporting, logging and policies. You will lead the review of implementing advanced features, and participate in data management and migration projects across the business. The position requires deep Exchange, SharePoint, Mobile Device Management knowledge, and a strong understanding of the following:

• Site configurations and development

• Document Management

• Compliance Management

• Hybrid Exchange

Experience and qualifications for success

•Project management experience implementing and maintaining Office 365 solutions that focus on workflow, document management, and content creation for web-focused business teams.

•Hands On administration experience with Microsoft Office 365 cloud technologies, such as, Azure, OneDrive, Yammer, SharePoint Teams, Skype Audio Conferencing.

•Stays up to date on O365 changes MS releases around each O365 product including Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint, etc.

•Lead activities around O365 licensing, experience in managing B2B or extranet users a must.

•Collaborate on O365 technical roadmaps with O365 development teams.

•Develop, Maintain and update O365 governance documentation with O365 product owners.

•Maintain PowerShell scripts used to manage\support the O365 environment for multiple apps--Azure, SharePoint, Groups.

•Partners with IT and other workgroups for the integration of applications that support Office 365 solutions.

•Provides training on O365 solution offerings, as well as IT orientation and security training.

•Proven understanding and background in implementing services such as IRM, DRM, DLP, Retention Policies, MDM, Email Encryption, and Threat Protection.

•Experience with mixed mode Microsoft Exchange hybrid environments is a plus.

•Experience configuring SharePoint sites.

•Experience creating/using Powershell scripts.

•Self-starter with ability to work independently or as part of a project team.

•Background in technology solutions as they relate to natural and cultural resource and environmental planning projects is desired.
