Consultant, BI Developer, Business Intelligence

Overview

Act as a Technical Consultant responsible for designing and developing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for Mastercard.

Role

•Leverage the Microsoft In-memory technology and the BI platform to design and develop tabular cubes on top of data stores like Oracle, SQL-Server, and Hadoop repositories
•Leverage Alteryx to facilitate the movement of data between on-premise and cloud based solutions.
•Build a semantic layer modeling complex transactional data using tools like Looker.
•Support DOMO, PowerBI, and Tableau solutions for various teams while providing technical expertise for design, performance, scalability and connectivity issues.
•Collaborate with various business teams by understanding the requirements and future roadmap, provide conceptual design solutions.
•Prototype the latest product releases, recommend, design, and implement new technologies.
•Leverage expertise in any of the following: SQL, HIVE, Looker, DOMO, PowerBI, Tableau, and Alteryx to design scalable, secure, and enterprise grade solutions

About You

•Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent.
•Ideal candidate would possess experience with each of the following: Microsoft SQL Server Analysis services (SSAS); Multi-dimensional Cubes/Tabular modeling; SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); Alteryx or similar workflow automation tool;

Experience working with large data repositories; Experience with creation/maintenance of source data stores; Data modeling; Data Analysis; Prototyping; Design and Implementation of Analytical Solutions; Microsoft DAX and RDL; Oracle and Netezza data repositories;

Preferred Experience
Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or related, and experience in the job offered, as a Technical Lead, Technical Specialist, Application Developer or related.

Hadoop; SQL Server Reporting Services; REST APIs; Oracle; Hive. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
