Associate Analyst- Account management

The Associate Analyst, under the coordination and governance of the Account Leader, will be accountable for managing the customer's relationship and for generating profitable sales pipelines opportunities.
The Associate Analyst will provide strategic customer solutions to achieve mutual goals through leveraging internal and external cross functional project teams and activating Mastercard systems and processes .The purpose of the role is indeed to prioritize and proactively deal with customer requirements to gain profitable share in the market.

Key Accountabilities
• Relationship builder (external customers): capable to manage the accounts assigned from a Revenue and P&L perspective, ensuring that Mastercard's share of business grows versus competitors, manage relationship with Mastercard Customers at high and operative level
• Project Manager (external and internal customers): interact and lead sales initiatives at all levels with the various functions involved in the business cycle (i.e. marketing, products, strategic planning distribution, etc...).Capable to deliver the projects assigned to support the customer payment services implementation strategy
• Strategic vision: he/she manages strategic clients and is therefore someone capable of identifying and developing new business opportunities, leveraging on outstanding account and project management
• Sales skills: capable to activate and fostering a longstanding partnership relationships. The candidate should be a conceptual thinker with an innovative mindset but at the same time strong implementation capabilities and results oriented approach.
• Leadership: he/she will be part of a complex multi-functional account team dislocated across Europe and will interact / manage many relationships within accounts acting as Mastercard's reference point at different levels of seniority and functions. In this context, the candidate must have the standing and leadership to be a credible, reliable and influential.

Qualifications and Experience
• The candidates will likely have previous working experience
• University degree in economics or comparable education
• First experiences in payment industry or consulting is preferred but not mandatory
• fluent in English and Italian
• strong international mind-set, drive, project management skills and a proven successes track record in studies.
