Full-Time - Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

The Opportunity
We seek a highly skilled developer with experience preferably with HR Systems and systems integrations. A proven ability to learn new software applications swiftly is a must. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to provide comprehensive solutions and support for our Workday HCM system and Workday Extend package solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing, configuring, and implementing Workday solutions that meet our organizational needs, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of the Workday HCM system. You will be a crucial resource in optimizing our processes, enhancing user experience, and driving HR technology initiatives aligning with our strategic goals.

The Team
The HRIS Team is a motivated, collaborative, consultative, and goal-oriented team responsible for using technology to streamline and improve HR processes. They focus on efficient and accurate data management. The team maintains and enhances HR software systems, drives innovation, offers user support, emphasizes customer service and training to optimize system usage, and acts with integrity. They are dedicated to data security and ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
The Impact
- Design and build complex, scalable integrations using the suite of Workday Integration technologies (Reports-as-a-Service, EIB, Document Transformation, Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services API, and Workday REST API) across Snap's Workday modules.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain custom applications using Workday Extend platform and related technologies such as Java, XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, etc.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of associated configuration decisions.
- Build consensus around business processes and design.
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle, where responsibilities include architecting, development, and quality assurance.
- Design and implement robust error-handling mechanisms to ensure appropriate logging and alerting.
- Engage in problem-solving by debugging and troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, regression testing, and providing resolutions.
- Support security and data privacy requirements, ensuring adherence to change and release management protocols.
Engage with cross-functional team members and communicate effectively at the appropriate technical level for each audience. Ensure thorough understanding and compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures, verifying that deliverables meet all requirements. Additionally, participate in special projects, mentor junior members of the team and perform other assigned duties.
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with proven experience in designing and building complex applications
- 5+ years of experience with database design and optimization techniques
- 5+ years of experience with object oriented programming languages such as: C++, Java, Python, .NET
- 5+ years of knowledge of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and SDLC methodologies
- 3+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- 3 + years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS
- 3+ years of experience using REST APIs
The Ideal Qualifications
- 3+ years of extensive Workday experience; 2+ years Workday Extend development
- 3+ years of demonstrated Workday integration development experience using Workday integration tools, e.g., Report-as-a-Service, EIB, Document Transformation, Connectors, Workday Studio
- Workday Pro Integration Certification or previous Workday Implementer Certification
- 3+ years of demonstrated Workday integration development experience using Workday integration tools, e.g., Report-as-a-Service, EIB, Document Transformation, Connectors, Workday Studio)
- Experience with Orchestrate
