Sales: Account Manager

The Details

Mashable is seeking a New York based Account Manager to work within the Sales team on a variety of digital campaigns. This is a great opportunity and an excellent environment for an individual looking to advance their career in account management and be a part of an innovative and dynamic digital media organization.

The Day to Day

  • Manage all post-sale communications and deliverables 
  • Interface with multiple internal departments to coordinate campaign approvals, implementation and performance tracking
  • Coordinate with various internal teams (AdOps, Product, Branded Content/Studios, Sales)
  • Monitor ongoing campaigns to ensure delivery
  • Work closely with Account Management team to ensure cohesiveness of materials and workflow
  • Act as the main point of contact for agency/client communication 
  • Communicate ad specs and creative lead times to advertisers and agencies
  • Respond to client requests and queries in a timely and courteous fashion

Must Haves

  • 2+ years working at a top tier publisher or agency
  • BA/BS degree in a related field with a strong academic record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of various reporting platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of web culture

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with DFP, DSM, iDesk, Atlas, Mediavisor or similar software
