Collaborate closely with the Team Leader to ensure seamless execution and alignment with strategic priorities. Engage with sales customer managers, activation teams, and internal category insight teams to maintain content consistency and drive impactful digital strategies. Your expertise will influence conversion optimization and drive forecast consistency across Walmart through the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Manage Walmart's trade budgets efficiently while providing leadership and strategic planning guidance to the team. As an Advanced Strategic Planning Facilitator, you'll lead digital integration and automation initiatives, ensuring comprehensive reporting within the Walmart account. What will be your key responsibilities?

Trade Spend Operation and Governance (20%)

  • Total Trade Spend Management (Working + Non-Working Events)
  • Lead the Pet Nutrition Deduction Status Meeting
  • Lead deductibles claim process.
  • Ongoing Budget Management (YTD Actualization, YTG/YE Estimate),
  • Periodic Present Financial Review - Full P&L

Forecasting and Planning (15%)

  • Coordinate periodic Actualization and Governance: GSV, Trade, NSV
  • Summary of the variation by desk and total
  • R&O Consolidation
  • GAP Close forecast / Trend signals
  • Performance Review / Accounts Review supporter
  • Facilitate ASP Planning Process Between MARS and WM

Reporting and Dashboard Integration (25%)

  • Lead Digital Integration and Automation Reports within the WM Account
  • Generate insights and summarize weekly performance.
  • Create recommendations and inputs to overall search strategy and media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the product manager to integrate learnings with the broader team dashboard.
  • Manages search forecast & communication to CMs on under or over-performance and future expectations.

WalMart.COM Performance (40%)

Strategy & Execution :

  • Coordinate the WalMart.com strategy
  • Translate Pet Nutrition's Digital strategy into each merchant desk
  • Chases content needed for their respective activations.
  • Serves as primary perspective/pressure test to team goals, calling out risks, opportunities, and blind spots.
  • Owns paid search Test and Learn agenda.
  • Lead paid search Brand strategies, initiating campaign or item-level changes.
  • Translate search investments into sales lift results, share of shelf/voice, and page rank improvements to inform paid and organic search recommendations.

Digital Operation:

  • Optimize search spend and content focuses against bids, ROI improvement, share of shelf improvement, etc.
  • Support media campaign analysis and optimization recommendations
  • Maintains and optimizes keyword lists for all campaigns
  • Owner of Search Dashboard
  • Maintain 95%+ content score on FC, IC and Seasonal
  • Ensure innovation flawless execution on WM.com
  • Attends weekly meetings and adapts activation strategy and campaigns dynamically based on the latest ROO/CRaP list.

Reporting:

  • Optimize and maintain OPD luminate report including scan, nil-pick and shopper behavior.
  • Share reporting insights periodically.
  • Establish an automatic process to track media and search campaign metrics, search volume, keyword trends and opportunities, and competitive analysis, providing insights and action.
  • Maintain monthly merchant communication and strategic focus.
  • Gen AI applications and optimizations

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work with customer managers on strategy, size of prize and lift opportunities, and delivering on buyer needs.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to manage consistency, communication of search plans, and collaboration on search tactics.
  • Communicate with the support agency on glide path and search capabilities.
  • Ability to influence external and internal stakeholders on test and learn and new capabilities and search strategies.
  • Partner with data scientists to deliver model creation and ROI/spend analysis.
