The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include:Supply the flexible lines with meats in the proper quantity and quality.Use powered vehicles to transport materials to various areas. Knows and follows all Safety, GMP's, and Best Practices. Maintain excellent sanitation/housekeeping levels throughout the area..Verify that quality of raw materials conform to specifications. Perform quality audits and adhere to SQP guidelines.Help ensure that new associates in the area receive proper skills and safety training.Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot and cold, dust, dirt and chemicals.
The primary qualifications of this position are:
Most recent Performance appraisal with a minimum of "Meets" expectations and not more than 1 year old.No active caution notices.Acceptable attendance (less than 7 incidents and no discipline above an Initial Warning).Physical requirements: Ability to perform all needed physical activities without restrictions. (Maximum of 50 pounds lifting.)A current certification to operate a forklift or the ability to certify prior to start-up.
