Title: Training Coordinator, Marsh Austin Service Center

Operations- Insurance Operations

Summary of role:

The Training Coordinator provides support to the Training Team in all aspects of administration and technical support through the accurate, efficient, and timely scheduling and organizing of training classes. The Training Coordinator provides support in the creation and maintenance of various internal communications. The Training Coordinator will also organize and facilitate Continuing Education courses via webinar through third party vendors. The Training Coordinator is responsible for working directly with internal visitors in establishing schedules and notifying colleagues of training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination of all aspects of training schedules before and through training
  • Coordination with Quality team on daily performance reports, side by sides, and managing trainee workload during academy
  • Scheduling and facilitation of Continuing Education webinars including working with third party vendors to obtain state approvals and working across Marsh offices to ensure proctor relationships
  • Works directly with Supervisors and Managers across departments
  • Works across the Operations organization in scheduling trainings and sessions held by visitors
  • Develops and delivers internal surveys on training programs
  • Assists with creation of internal colleague communications and event registrations
  • Creates and updates visual message board (PIM) content
  • Assists in creation and maintenance of training materials


KeyQualifications:
  • 1+ year in similar role
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and standards
  • Strong Organizational Skills - experience managing multiple, overlapping projects or trainings
  • Resourcefulness in anticipating and meeting the needs of a busy team
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to interact with multiple areas and levels of the organization
  • Webinar experience is desired, but will train on hosting if you have strong project coordination skills


Education:
  • College degree preferred
