Research: Celent analysts conduct research and publish reports on issues relevant to the financial services industry. This includes industry and market trends, innovation, operational issues, technology devel-opments, regulatory changes, and more. Research reports are available exclusively to our clients on a subscription basis.

Analyst Access: Celent's research forms part of a retained advisory service, where our cli-ents have access to our analysts, reports, and knowledge base to allow them to rapidly make more informed decisions. A key role of analysts is working directly with Celent's clients through analyst access calls. Celent's customers are allowed unlimited calls with analysts to discuss topics of interest. These calls do not need to be directly related to research reports. Through these calls, analysts expand their own knowledge and share this knowledge with clients. Analyst access calls are a key part of the role.

Consulting: Celent analysts also work directly with our clients on small consulting projects. Our consulting clients include insurers as well as consulting firms, private equity firms, venture capitalists, and technology vendors. Prior projects include advising on new technology investments, innovation management and emerging technology workshops, strategic fit evaluations for new acquisitions, and market entry assessments for software firms. As the research arm of Oliver Wyman (OW), Celent analysts regularly participate in larger OW projects as well.

In addition to research and consulting, Celent analysts are expected to develop a high profile and regularly speak with members of the press and present at conferences. Our analysts have been quoted extensively in virtually every leading business publication. Analysts also speak at industry conferences and roundtables and make themselves available to research clients to answer ques-tions on a variety of topics. Comfort with public speaking is integral to the role.
