The purpose of this role is to deliver both technology solution and build framework and/or platform base on industry standards and best practices. Needs to have superior people skill to lead technical teams and deep experience and knowledge in building highly scalable, modern UI, ecommerce and back-office solutions and/or web sites.
Responsibility
Solution & framework delivery including:
- Communication with the work stakeholder
- Work with other development teams to build common framework and reusable components to reduce time to delivery
- Build and deliver highly scalable software components to support large user population
- Question fielding from stakeholders
- Clear timelines, specs and expectations of the work product

Supervises two or more employees as direct reports, typically up to 5.
Has full authority for people management including:
- Assigning, directing, and evaluating work
- Hiring, disciplining and firing employees
- Conducting performance evaluations and career development discussions
- Approving salary and bonus actions
- Ensuring appropriate orientation and on-going education/training
- Individual contributor towards project goals
- Domain expert for the group they are supporting
- Communicator of Global Technology goals
- General support for engagement initiatives
- Expectation discussions
- Timely feedback on work product
- Updated needs and requirements for given projects as they evolve
- Evidence of lack of performance, capacity, etc. in order to facilitate adjustments
- Initiation on all issues that arise with workers from a delivery standpoint
