Private Client Account Manager (Personal Lines)

Role Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the service needs of our affluent client base. Our ideal candidate has had experience working with high net worth clientele and their unique insurance needs in a fast-paced, corporate environment. We are looking for a confident, service-oriented individual who is committed to providing the highest service and quality standards set forth by the agency. Role Responsibilities
  • Maintain client relationships via phone, email and in-person visits
  • Inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients, carrier representatives, and underwriters
  • Provide professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, and underwriters
  • Determine acceptability and placement of coverage and collect premium payments when applicable
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures
  • Resolve billing issues and service requests while maintaining concern for timeliness and completeness of information
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of carriers, products, and services offered
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
  • Ensure account data is accurately captured, entered, and maintained in the agency management system


Role Requirements
  • Current and valid 2-20 Florida license is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of account management experience within an insurance agency
  • Familiarity with family office practice is a plus and may substitute a portion of the required insurance agency experience
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service is required
  • Polished interpersonal skills, including relationship-building skills with clients and co-workers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Applied (EPIC) and/or Sagitta system experience preferred
