Operating Metrics Analyst
Mercer is seeking an Operating Metrics Analyst to support its North American Talent Practice, working closely with Regional and Market Business Leaders. In this role, you will:

  • Analyze data and form conclusions
  • Develop key operating metrics in partnership with the hiring manager
  • Interface with partners in HR and other internal functions
  • Create business reports for leadership in preparation of meetings
  • Manage special projects
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of people, processes, and systems
  • Manipulate and format data to meet customer needs using appropriate presentation styles
  • Identify gaps and work directly with line of business staff to identify and resolve systems issues so they can maintain their focus on client delivery
  • Analyze metrics and compile dashboard reports tracking progress against goals in areas such as utilization, profitability, sales, pipeline, and compliance for office and market leadership, to assist them in managing the practice
  • Build data models to organize important data for different teams across the business andformonitoring and handlingdata

Location: Ideal candidate will be in Chicago but will consider remote

  • Must be extremely adept with Excel - using formulas and not just pivot tables
  • Familiar with MicroStrategy, SalesForce, and Workday
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Experience looking at large amounts of data and making something of it
  • Ability to marry HR data with sales and performance
  • Experience managing creation of a deck
  • Bachelor's degree (ideally in math, statistics, economics, computer science, business administration) or equivalent experience
