Job Title: Business Insurance Assistant Account Manager

DIVISION: Lexington, KY


The main goal and function of a Business Insurance Assistant Account Manager is to assist the production team in the production and service of new and existing accounts. This responsibility includes customer service and all related functions of support for the Business Insurance book of business to which they are assigned.

Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists with invoicing of new and renewal policies and endorsements
  • Assist the team in marketing of new and renewal business including Summaries & Proposals
  • Assist with processing policies, policy audits, and audit follow-ups
  • Basic file maintenance
  • Assists with the preparation of applications
  • Basic correspondence with clients and companies
  • Assist in investigating all accounting discrepancies and correct accordingly
  • Handle countersignature arrangements
  • Processing customer policy endorsements and ID cards
  • Process incoming requests for additional information from the carriers
  • Set-up templates for Certificates of Insurance
  • Assist with loss run requests

  • Previous Business Insurance experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to research and analyze problems independently
  • Detail oriented and able to self-check for accuracy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Must have Property & Casualty resident agents license or obtain within 90 days of employment
