The Learning Specialist is an integral part of the success of MMA Mid-Atlantic. The Learning Specialist, Employee Health & Benefits, is an integral part of the success of MMA Mid-Atlantic. Supporting company initiatives, colleague onboarding, and ongoing improvement through employee and provider training, this position will focus on the Employee Health & Benefits Divisions.
•Conduct onboarding training in conjunction with the operations team and subject matter experts, to include technology solutions/navigation and work flows/processing.
•Collaborate with regional operations team to fully understand organizational skill gaps, work flows & processes, and individual knowledge deficits
•Assist with annual Intern program development and execution
•Participate in MMA University Workgroups
•Develop and instruct continuous improvement training on technology solutions to include refresher courses in addition to intermediate and advanced topics
•Develop teaching aids including training materials, reference materials and visual aids
•Development of multiple training formats; live, Zoom, recorded modules, etc..
•Review and selection of external training resources
•Conduct research and analysis, and deliver training programs to anticipate training business needs and trends for new business in the future
•Assist with success profile development
•Assist with knowledge test development
•Embody the corporate culture in all interactions
•Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and organizational information
•Ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of the organization
•Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
•Self-motivated and able to work independently
•At least one year of experience in presenting to a diverse group
•Strong organizational skills
•Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple projects simultaneously
•A commitment to service with impeccable follow through
•High ethical standards and the desire to maintain confidentiality
•High School Diploma required; Advance Degree or equivalent career experience preferred
•3 to 5 years of experience in Insurance division for which applying
•Strong knowledge of technology systems such as Sagitta, BenefitPoint, ImageRight, SalesForce and Microsoft Office Suite.
