HRMSS Operations Lead

As an HRMSS Lead you will be responsible for leading Payroll initiatives, projects, assignments, research, production problem resolution all geared towards achieving payroll accuracy and efficiencies.

What you can expect in this role:

Manage work/projects/activities at the direction of the Sr. Payroll Manager

  • Audits (Sox, Internal, Census, BLS)
  • Complex Acquisition & Divestiture issues
  • HRSS coordination for all WD upgrades/testing
  • Escalations and issue management
  • Payroll production support - own problem resolution
  • Configuration/functionality testing
  • Payroll Reporting (including Census, DOL)
  • Internal consulting / support for payroll
  • Internal/External partner training for process and technical updates


Partnership, interactions, coordination and collaboration with external partners/stakeholders (HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations, Legal, Corporate Tax) on projects and day to day

Complex technical project leadership
  • Year End

  • Vendor Changes
  • Workday upgrades


Track, manage and report payroll work/issue log, and road map initiatives
  • Manage periodic calls to support issue logs and team updates


This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for the Payroll and HRSS teams and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Required skills/capabilities :

  • Strong Payroll system experience (Workday preferred)
  • MSFT Office
  • Vendor interface experience
  • Ability to lead/influence others
  • Experience in problem solving and collaboration across all levels
  • Project Management experience with a global and customer mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and manage timelines
  • Strong Customer/Partner/Stakeholder communications/collaboration skills
  • Works with minimal supervision
