Global PMO Analyst

Position Summary:

This role is part of a global team dedicated to guiding prioritization and delivery of major change programs. The team interfaces with a variety of stakeholders looking after key business initiatives. The PMO helps senior leaders select and ensure proper support for the selected initiatives, and supports project managers with guidance around project mobilization, change delivery, implementation, and reporting.

Provides expertise in project initiation and delivery to Regional and Global PMOs. Central focus will be to bring this knowledge to support global colleagues, regional stakeholders, and the various Governance functions. Develops and provides tools and templates for project delivery, project quality, governance, reporting and related support. Builds and maintains an understanding of program portfolio initiatives, incl. status, stakeholders, risks/issues, and mitigation plans. Conducts project and program assurance to ensure appropriate quality of project artifacts that are prepared for various stakeholders. We are looking for a self-starter with 'can do' attitude who is prepared to get involved when there is little direction and guidance provided. The successful candidate will:

Provides mentoring and coaching to global project managers by providing Tools & Knowledge Management techniques and standards:
  • Defines, develops and deploys project delivery methodology, standardized tools and templates for use in project delivery and monitoring various business change projects
  • Provides guidance and coaching to project team members on project delivery, methodology, and tools. Provides periodic oversight and related support to project teams

Provides program assurance and progress reporting in support of regional and functional governance councils
  • Conducts regular project assessment and analysis
  • Reviews and evaluates business case proposals
  • Conducts and participates in periodic quality reviews
  • Develops analysis from key project data provided by project manager, finance, or other functions
  • Creates project and program reporting and related artifacts
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives for PMO communications and quality processes

Champions global program dashboard to provide transparency on program health for executive stakeholders
  • Evaluates detailed program information and initiates corrective action with program stakeholders where required
  • Develops and maintains a network of global project managers to continuously engage on portfolio initiatives' progress, issues, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Prepares related storyboards for presentation to senior management
