Digital Data & Analytics Platform Leader

This team will partner with MMC and third parties to evolve our Data & Analytic capabilities and cloud-based platform. This team is responsible for connecting data across Mercer and MMC properties and externally.

To fulfill this role, the Digital Data & Analytics Platform Leader will:

- Transform the Data & Analytics group into a business by building capabilities and being a part of the data science journey

- Establish big Data data and AI capabilities to enable algorithmic services and data ecosystems

- Look at the Mercer architecture (both data and non-data) to inventory the digital capabilities and make connections between the various structures in place

- Leverage the learnings from the architecture review to make connections using data between the variousgroups in the organization

- Drive business engagement with leaders (both those who are already on board and those who are not) to help solve business problems using data

- Take ownership of the data pipeline from ingestion through consumption and strategies

- Stand up a sandbox in which business colleagues can "play" and then partner with those colleagues to design a structure that best meets their needs and commercialization

- Ensure the team develops knowledge and competencies to understand the business and help develop solutions and share that knowledge with the development team

- Lead by example and provide mentoring and coaching to team and others

- Demonstrate strong leadership skills

- Work with the LOB leaders and others to establish relationships with internal contacts at all levels

- Facilitate and influence client decision-making from a technical solution delivery perspective

- Be highly technical and willing to dig, while also being incredibly talented in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences

We are Digital pioneers requiring:

- Extensive experience with Design Thinking, Agile, Information Architecture and customer journeys

- Ability to act decisively, anticipate and react to high speed of change, and navigate through complexity

- Decision making utilizing data

- Proficient in tools used in support of office and project management (e.g. MS Office, Outlook, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required

- 15 + years of experience in Technology

- Deep understanding of analytics, AI and ML

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to influence and drive change through a highly matrixed organization with multiple internal and external stakeholders

- High level project management and technology skills

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build credibility

- Self-starter with willingness to assume responsibility and take charge

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Team oriented and proven people leader

- Extremely change agile
