Defined Contribution Plan Consultant

This position is for a productive professional individual contributor to Defined Contribution Plan Consulting, who can work independently with minimal supervision. This individual will work on defined contribution plan projects, such as but not limited to design benchmarking, cost analysis, non-discrimination testing, compliance review, fee benchmarking, and vendor search projects. Duties will include working directly with multiple senior consultants in varying geographies. This role requires project management skills and may involve checking of other analysts' work. Responsibilities can include some or all of the following:

  • Perform necessary calculations or analysis on plan design costing projects including analyzing current participant behavior, projecting costs based on static and projected populations over single or multiple years
  • Assist in analysis of administrative fees for fee benchmarking and vendor search projects.Support drafting of RFIs/RFPs and analysis of vendor responses including review of vendor websites
  • Assist in nondiscrimination testing including ADP/ACP, coverage and general testing
  • Assist on vendor related projects such as vendor searches and fee benchmarking
  • Based on experience, may provide checking of spreadsheets and data analysis
  • Intended to have exposure to clients (by phone and in person where projects permit) based on client needs


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years retirement related work experience preferably in a consulting environment
  • Successful client relationship experience
  • Qualified Plan/Trust administration experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical ability
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
