Customer Service Representative II
This position is ideal for a seasoned support staff in Customer Service who works independently under moderate supervision for routine situations.
Answers and documents inbound calls. Also makes outbound calls when necessary.
Classifies and determines acceptable insurance risk for various insurance products by following specified carrier guidelines.
Processes customer requests for changes to coverage and proof of coverage as necessary.
Provides knowledgeable insurance information direct to customers or to client facing staff by phone and through written correspondence.
Requests additional information from the applicant/insured if adverse information is disclosed or information is missing in order to make a decision.
Maintains business standards within the department.
Must have or be able to obtain a P&C insurance license within 45 days.
