Commercial Lines Account Manager

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager with Insurance Experience in the Human Services arena. The Account Manager is responsible for working alongside our sales team, clients and insurance carrier underwriters in order to successfully grow and retain our relationships with our clients. This is a great role for a P&C professional enthusiastic about providing great & efficient client service, with the interest and ability to adapt quickly to new systems and different styles positively, and with accuracy and quality of work.


  • Develop and maintain working relationships with clients on an internal and external basis (pre-renewal/renewal/service schedule)
  • Coordinate service needs of clients, including questions, endorsements
  • Account round existing clients for coverage's not presently issued
  • Maintain product knowledge and service standards for all existing and new product service lines
  • Maintain client information in Sagitta system for data integrity
  • Provide pre-renewal packet to the sales team that is detailed and accurate
  • Provide service schedule
  • Assist in training and development of team
  • Positively contribute to a culture of support, caring, and comradery within the department
  • Attend Commercial Lines meetings as defined by Manager
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

  • Minimum 3 years Commercial Insurance experience, Agency preferred
  • Social Service experience is highly valued
  • P&C Brokers License
  • College Degree desired, High School Diploma at a minimum
  • Thorough understanding of the insurance industry including forms and coverage's
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Conduct in-person meetings with clients and carriers
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task a must
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required, familiarity with Sagitta preferred
