The Small Business Unit Account Associate is responsible for clerical assistance and processing support to the Business Insurance Account Manager and Consultant. Accurate and timely processing of business is essential. Knowledge of general insurance practices is necessary.


  • Maintain accurate and complete electronic documentation of all processed transactions
  • Assist in gathering underwriting information as needed
  • Assist in preparation of program proposals
  • Assist in preparation of renewal reviews
  • Process certificates and evidence of property insurance as requested, (same day service)
  • Process MVR requests
  • Process change requests and resulting endorsements according to workflows
  • Process policy audits according to workflows
  • Update renewal applications according to workflows
  • Prepare policy notebooks for delivery
  • Claims processing - first initial contact and claim follow up to assure claim has been handled
  • Scan and attach paper documents to electronic file
  • Rating of Small Business
