Associate Client Executive

Associate Client Executive position based in Los Angeles. This individual would work with2-3 Client Executives managing client relationships and client teams.

Client Relationship Development

  • Initially shadows and ultimately leads/co-leads with Client Executive(s) on client/prospect appointments
  • Takes the lead on driving internal work streams through the execution of effective service management protocols including:
  • Account Planning & Stewardship: Leads initial discussions and preparation of account planning and stewardship materials to outline Marsh's strategy, relationships, vulnerabilities, and action plans with clients to deliver risk-specialized differentiated value
  • Renewal Strategy Meetings: Actively participates and links high level conversations amongst the multiple Risk Practice colleagues
  • Client Service Agreements: Participates in discussions and works to develop and finalize Client Service Agreements
  • Account Project Management: Establishes and maintains open items lists, schedules of insurance, and team charts
  • Client Surveys: Analyzes and responds to survey feedback
  • Manages and supports all project specific requests, manages them to conclusion
  • Maintains Marsh Team Site
  • Researches and prepares complex documents including RFP responses, benchmarking studies, and client insurance manuals
  • Interfaces with and assumes some projects with Risk Management team


Sales & Service Management
  • Develops acumen in understanding MMC/Marsh's service offerings including the analytics platform and identifies opportunities to articulate the offerings within the sales cycle to include Belief Based Engagement.
  • Understands sales cycle and maintains opportunity funnel
  • Communicates regularly with clients and service team members. Monitors feedback through ongoing dialogue and surveys
  • Responds to day-to day requests directed at the CE
  • Acts as project manager for service team's work and renewals
  • Utilizes available tools and technology to improve personal and team productivity


Financial Management
  • Prepares for and participates in compensation strategy and fee negotiation meetings
  • Monitors revenue, profitability, and timely billing and collection
  • Maintains a focus on meeting standards of the organization through an understanding of Marsh's Professional Standards and any internal quality measures that are implemented
  • Implements action plans, monitors progress, assures service meets or exceeds client expectations, and protects the firm from Errors & Omissions

Qualifications
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; master's degree preferred
  • Possesses specialized knowledge of industry, client risk issues, and Marsh/MMC solutions
  • Able to develop client relationships and communicate with contacts at multiple levels within a client's organization
