Transactional Risk Analyst

Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MMC) is seeking a full-time business analyst. The analyst position is a key role in Marsh's Transactional Risk Insurance brokerage team, recognized as global leaders in transactional insurance. The candidate will be an integral part of Marsh's multi-disciplinary advisory team and will report directly to the head of the Transactional Risk Practice. The position will provide in-depth exposure to M&A deals and the insurance industry generally. Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and understanding transaction documents and risks associated with M&A transactions

• Managing pipeline of deals and potential deals

• Preparing submissions, summary reports, binders and policies for insurance of M&A deals

• Developing marketing materials and presentations

• Coordinating and supporting M&A insurance transactions with clients, lawyers and insurance underwriters

Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) is a must (Salesforce is a plus)
  • Creative, commercial and practical problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial, team-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Business degree required
  • P&C license a must - or ability to obtain license
