2018 Human Resource Development Program

Program Highlights:

The Human Resources Development Program [HRDP] is an exciting and challenging two-year development program for talented, high-performing individuals. It is designed to cultivate professionals within our global HR organization who are thought-leaders and who will promote effective change and innovation. HRDP Associates have access to Marsh & McLennan Companies' key decision makers - our leadership team has made significant commitments to program participants in rotational assignments. We are looking to attract and retain high-caliber, motivated professionals who want to become future leaders at Marsh & McLennan Companies.

Opportunities:

The program is comprised of three, eight-month rotations within the corporate center and the four operating companies. The program is based in New York City with travel as required. Rotational areas may include: Colleague Engagement, Compensation, Diversity and Inclusion, HR Business Partner Group, Office of the Chief HR Officer, and Talent Acquisition and Management. By the end of the rotational program the candidate will migrate into a permanent assignment based on the firm's current needs and the candidate's accomplishments and interests. The program includes a formal mentoring component with the best and brightest "people developers" to help each Associate actively direct his or her career path.

Core responsibilities of Associates include to:

  • Identify and implement strategic HR initiatives, in conjunction with the appropriate leadership and line-of-business teams;
  • Evaluate existing and new process opportunities and provide tactical support for HR leadership and decision-makers; and
  • Conduct research and analysis for key HR and organizational design projects
