Sr. Business Strategy Manager

As a Senior Business Strategy Manager for Adobe.com, you will be responsible for building an analytical framework to understand, drive and prioritize Retention strategy for a multi-billion-dollar business for a global SaaS company. This is a global role that spans across all customer segments, businesses and products, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. You will a meaningful role on one of the high visibility teams at Adobe.

As we build out this critical function at Adobe, we are looking for someone who can quickly bridge from strategy to execution. Your experience in strategy or consulting will help get the organization pointed in the right direction. You have extensive experience developing analytical frameworks, building business cases, and articulating clear, succinct plans. You have outstanding analytical skills and know how to ask the right questions and get to actionable insights. You are comfortable presenting to executive leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain operational frameworks for prioritizing, driving and tracking retention initiatives across the organization
  • Develop analytical business cases for investment across product, marketing and business
  • Drive improved understanding of analytical and customer behavior insights for the retention business, partnering with Analytics, Customer Support and Marketing teams
  • Present compelling business cases and provide regular updates on progress to senior leadership
  • Prioritize initiatives, ensuring the team is passionate about the activities that will generate the highest value to Adobe
  • Develop programs in partnership with the data science team, based on customer segment and churn score, that will optimize ARR
  • Work with product teams to develop requirements for new product initiatives based on a deep understanding of our customers and the customer experience
  • Develop a deep understanding of the levers that drive the business - bring to bear knowledge of the seasonal impact of cancellations in order to forecast accurately
  • Handle plan deliverables for quarterly and annual Strategic Planning processes

Qualifications/Experience

  • BS/BA with 8+ years software, high tech or management consulting experience, MBA preferred
  • Ex consultant, with understanding of analytical and critical thinking frameworks preferred
  • Understanding of online business models and how to test and optimize the customer experience to deliver results
  • Self starter, exhibiting phenomenal leadership in moving initiatives forward across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated excellence in conceptual thinking and analytical problem-solving - you must love data, and asking the question "why"
  • The desire and ability to take a stand and advocate a course of action, presenting supporting facts and data to back up your position
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels
  • Global cultural awareness and experience with global teams
  • Great sense of humor
