The Role

The Adobe Secure Software Team is looking for a Security Tools Architect to help drive the tools and processes Adobe uses to keep its infrastructure and customers secure. This role will work with over 10 different tooling and analysis teams to ensure that all of Adobe is working together to reduce security risk and develop great products. As a Security Tools Architect, you will:

  • Provide end to end deep technical and architectural direction to operation security tool teams.

  • Innovate and ideate new features and tools in the security space and help in defining the roadmap of the security tool chain and align with the company's technical direction.

  • Invest time in proof of concept ideas and will narrow down the technical possibilities that meet the tooling requirements.

  • Work with multiple teams and technical leaders to align them on a common vision and ensure security risks are understood and prioritized correctly.

  • Help define and maintain security guidelines and corporate standards.

  • Work with security researchers to analyze Splunk data and identify risk patterns.

  • Advocate for security tooling standards and methodologies among Adobe's vast number of product teams.

  • Define measurable KPIs to improve adoption and effectiveness of the operational security tools.

  • Work with Legal and Audit teams to define technical and regulatory requirements for security tools.

  • Establish, lead and coordinate working groups to drive companywide security changes through the security tool chain.

  • Participate in planning and estimation exercises.

  • Participate in meetings with vendors, customers, management and engineers to lead the technical discussion.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years' experience in software or technical industry.

  • BS/MS in cybersecurity, engineering, or related area or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and diplomacy skills.

  • Experience working with a global team spread across multiple geographies.

  • Past record of delivering results and having made broad impact.

  • Experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure needed. GCP a plus)

  • Experience with Python, scripting languages or other programming languages such as Go, Rust, Java, etc.

  • Experience working with and defining processes including ticketing and remediation.

  • Experience with SIEM technologies, Vulnerability Scanning, Service Oriented Architecture, Linux highly recommended.

  • Experience with Vulnerability Scanning, Production Access Control, Credential management a plus.

  • Knowledge of containers and orchestration (such as K8s) a plus.

  • Is technical deep, has written code in previous jobs, understands complex architectures and has basic knowledge of security.
