The Cloud Technology organization builds platform and client services that are foundational building blocks for many other Adobe products and services. Areas of focus include: identity, security, cloud storage, e-commerce, workflow management, synchronization, customer facing web apps, scalability, infrastructure management and search, just to name a few. Adobe IT is a part of the Cloud Tech (CT) organization. IT exists to "Unleash the true potential of everyone to deliver extraordinary experiences." This includes:
- Delivering Enterprise, Employee and Data services and solutions
- Running end-to-end operations for resiliency, reliability, redundancy
- Running IT as a Business by being architecture driven and driving continuous improvement
Within the IT organization, the Enterprise Solution Services (ESS) team's primary mission is to Imagine, Architect, Craft and Lead the Applications that empower Adobe's business. The ESS organization is responsible for Marketing, Sales, Legal, Commerce, Finance, and Customer Support applications. As a Solution Architect in Cloud Technology - IT Enterprise Solution Services, you'll architect, design and implement solutions serving a global, enterprise and commercial sales platform built on leading cloud and on-premise technologies. You'll work on unique enterprise and commercial problems in a large, complex environment managing millions of records and daily transactions. While working on a full-stack of technologies, you'll have an opportunity to make meaningful impact to our business stakeholders across sales (including partners), revenue operations (deal desk) and legal operations (revenue generating contracts).

Collaborate with business, analysts, and engineers to architect and implement solutions on the sales platform and partner applications.
Lead technical design sessions with implementation teams through to actionable steps
Design, develop, and document platform solutions and design patterns that tackle challenges unique to our deployment
Partner with engineering teams to provide hands-on custom development and support for the broader sales platform scope
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to developers including ongoing code reviews, automation and continuous integration opportunities.
Be a technical thought leader and influence teams on implementation best practices
Maintain our platform documentation and roadmap for current state, interim state and target architecture referencing industry maturity models.
Align and influence technology decisions with broader solution architect and enterprise architect community.
What is needed for success
10+ years of experience as a software engineer or architect
7+ years of enterprise experience on the Salesforce platform with deep technical understanding of Apex, Visualforce and Salesforce APIs
5+ years improving and integrating Salesforce with upstream marketing automation, mid-stream master data management, quoting and contracting, professional services and/or downstream with customer success management and finance enterprise applications.
Hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a differentiating skill
Practical experience collaborating with business owners and implementation teams and leading with architecture to translate requirements into technical solutions
Strong fundamentals in an object-oriented language like Java
Background in web services and systems integrations using HTTP and RESTful design principles
A Bachelor's Engineering degree
